The Telangana government on Monday said that cinema halls and multiplexes in the State can be opened with immediate effect. In this regard, a host of guidelines were issued.
As warranted by the Centre’s guidelines, seating capacity can’t exceed the 50% mark. Theatres in containment zones can’t be opened.
Some of the guidelines issued by the State government include wearing of face masks, available of hand sanitisers at entry and exit points, sanitisation of the premises after each screening and management of show timings so that the theatre does not get crowded.
