Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his intense narratives, is reportedly eyeing a prominent Bollywood star for the villain role in his upcoming film, ‘Spirit’, which stars Prabhas as a cop.
According to industry whispers, actor Vivek Oberoi is in talks to play the powerful antagonist. Vanga, who successfully cast Bobby Deol in a memorable negative role in ‘Animal’, is believed to be keen on bringing Oberoi’s formidable screen presence to Spirit.
If finalised, this casting would mark Oberoi’s return to major Telugu cinema, potentially pitting two formidable actors against each other in what is billed as a high-voltage action thriller. The film is currently in pre-production, with Triptii Dimri rumored to be the female lead.
