Unveiled on December 24, the teaser showcases the actress in a transformative and “ultra-mass” avatar as a Gond tribal woman, a stark departure from her usual sophisticated roles.
The gritty one-minute video features a blood-soaked Rashmika standing her ground in a burning forest, wielding a shotgun with a handcuff still dangling from one wrist.
With a haunting voiceover by Eshwari Rao declaring that “death died” trying to kill her, the glimpse has already gone viral, drawing comparisons to the raw intensity seen in major action blockbusters.
Directed by Rawindra Pulle and set to the thumping score of Jakes Bejoy, ‘Mysaa’ is being positioned as a high-octane emotional thriller slated for a pan-India release in 2026.
