Directed by Maruthi, ‘The Raja Saab’ is reportedly budgeted between ₹400–450 crore. The film features a stellar cast including Prabhas in a reported dual role, alongside Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt, and leading ladies Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar.
The team behind Prabhas’s highly anticipated pan-India project, ‘The Raja Saab’, has officially put an end to rampant speculation regarding a potential delay.
The producers, People Media Factory, confirmed that the romantic horror comedy will hit theatres worldwide on the previously announced date: January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival.
Music is composed by Thaman S. The film’s narrative is set against the backdrop of an old cinema theatre, with the plot centered around Prabhas’s character, who is rumored to play both an old theatre owner and a ghost/exorcist.
The production house assured fans that post-production work, including extensive VFX, is progressing at a rapid pace to meet the Sankranthi deadline.
