Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Fauji’ will not release on December 3, 2026, producer Mythri Ravi Shankar has confirmed. The film’s release has been pushed to a later date, although a new date has not yet been announced.
Speculation about a possible postponement had been circulating for several days, with reports suggesting that the film could move to 2027. The makers had not officially confirmed the change until now.
The situation became clearer after Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Vrushakarma’ and Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Sri Sri’ were announced for December 4, 2026. ‘Fauji’ had originally been scheduled for the previous day.
Speaking at the pre-release event of Nani’s ‘The Paradise’, Ravi Shankar confirmed that the Prabhas-starrer would arrive later than planned. He also indicated that the makers are aiming to present the actor in a different kind of role and scale.
No new release date has been revealed so far, though the film is expected to arrive in 2027.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, ‘Fauji’ stars Prabhas in the lead. Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar are producing the project under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
