Following the massive opening and fan reception for Pawan Kalyan’s latest gangster drama, ‘They Call Him OG’, the film’s makers have officially confirmed that a sequel, tentatively titled ‘OG 2’, is in development.
Reports indicate that the sequel will pick up right where the first part concluded, with the story of Pawan Kalyan’s stylish gangster character reportedly moving to Tokyo. The news has electrified the star’s fan base, who were thrilled to see him back in his ‘mass’ avatar.
Director Sujeeth, who helmed the first part, expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew and excitingly hinted at building a larger “Sujeeth Cinematic Universe” (SCU), suggesting that ‘They Call Him OG’ is “just the beginning.”
While a release timeline for ‘OG 2’ is yet to be announced, the confirmation alone has solidified the film as a successful comeback for the Power Star.
