On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Mahesh Babu officially launched the teaser for ‘Nagabandham’ , an ambitious pan-Indian movie.
Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film features Virat Karrna in a fierce transformation inspired by the fury of Lord Shiva.
The teaser offers a dialogue-free, visually stunning experience, blending 18th-century historical events—specifically inspired by the Afghan invasion of Ahmad Shah Abdali—with deep-rooted Indian spirituality.
The project boasts an ensemble cast including Nabha Natesh, Ishwarya Menon, and Jagapathi Babu, with high-end VFX bringing the mystical Nagabandham Temple to life.
International action experts have been roped in to design the combat sequences, promising a scale rarely seen in the genre.
Mahesh Babu praised the team’s vision, stating the “World of Nagabandham looks absolutely fascinating,” as the film gears up for a Summer 2026 theatrical release across five languages.
