A cheating case has been filed against Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his son Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. A case was booked by financier V L Sravan Kumar stating that the duo had cheated Rs 85 lakh from him.
Sravan Kumar alleged that the duo had taken money from him in installments in 2018 for producing a movie.
The petitioner claimed that the producer promised to take him as an assistant producer for a film to be directed by Gopichan Malineni, but did not stick to his word.
Following this, the case has been filed and the duo has been asked to appear before the investigating officer.
