The first single, ‘The Thaandavam’, from the sequel film officially titled ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’, has been released.
The massive Action-Adventure film, directed by Boyapati Srinu and starring Balakrishna, is being made on an estimated grand budget of Rs 200 crore.
The film maintains the successful technical crew from the original 2021 blockbuster, with music by Thaman.
New additions to the cast include Samyuktha Menon and Aadhi Pinisetty (who plays the antagonist). Notably, Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame child actor Harshaali Malhotra joins the cast as ‘Janani,’ marking her debut in Telugu cinema.
The film is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Ishan Saksena under 14 Reels Plus and IVY Entertainment and is scheduled for a worldwide release on December 5.
