Anupama Parameswaran’s much-anticipated film ‘Paradha’ is officially set to hit screens worldwide on August 22.
The announcement was made by the makers accompanied by a compelling release date poster and the second single from the film, ‘Yatra Naryasthu’.
The poster features Anupama Parameswaran in a traditional saree, exuding a fierce determination, with a serene goddess idol in the background, hinting at the film’s spiritual and emotional depth.
“Yatra Naryasthu,” scored by Gopi Sundar and with poignant lyrics by Vanamali, is described as a soul-stirring track celebrating the strength and divinity of women.
The visuals for the song suggest a narrative where Anupama’s character faces a heartbreaking tradition imposed by villagers.
Backed by the acclaimed duo Raj and DK, ‘Paradha’ is bankrolled by Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva under the Ananda Media banner.
Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the film also features Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha in pivotal roles, alongside Rag Mayur.
