The first single from ‘Maanaadu’ was supposed to be released on Ramzan. However, it was postponed after director Venkat Prabhu’s mother passed away.
Producer Suresh Kamatchi took to Twitter to reveal that the song launch has been postponed to a later date.
He wrote that this is not the situation to celebrate a song when the country is battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now the movie’s music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has said that the first single will be released soon.
‘Maanaadu’ shooting began last year and is at the brink of completion. The movie features Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah and Manoj Bharathiraja in important roles.
