Shooting for Jayam Ravi’s movie with Kalyan titled ‘Agilan’ was taking place in and around Thoothukudi.
The trailer of the film reveals that Jayam Ravi plays the character Agilan who is involved in illegal business at the harbour.
The movie was expected to be released during the Christmas holidays. However, it has been postponed now.
Sources now said that the delay in the release of the film is due to the CG works.
Reports said that since major portions of the movie was shot in harbour, several brands are displayed which will affect their business. Hence, their names have been changed using CG.
The film has been sent for censor and is expected to be released in March.
Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tanya Ravichandran play the female leads in the movie. Music for the film is by Sam CS.
