Director Sundar C’s dream project ‘Sangamithra’ was announced to be made on a big budget in 2108.
However, the film did not proceed further. It is now said that the makers are planning to revive the project.
According to reports, Vishal will be replacing Jayam Ravi’s role in the movie. Sources said that Jayam Ravi has opted out of the movie as he has recently portrayed the role of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
Arya and Shruti Haasan who were supposed to play the main roles have been retained.
It is said that the makers are looking for the right time to kick start the project.
The official announcement about the revival of the project is expected to be made soon.
