What audience can expect from ‘Leo’ – F’day Spl. Article byNaveen

Vijay’s ‘Leo’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to release in theatres on October 19. Promotional work of the movie is going in full swing. Lokesh has started giving out interviews about the movie. Though, the director has not revealed much about the story or if the movie is part of the LCU, he has clearly stated what the audience can expect from the movie. Let us take a look at some of the key aspects from Lokesh’s recent interviews:
No intro scene or song:
Vijay’s introduction songs have a separate fan base. However, Lokesh has made it clear that there will not be an introduction song for the actor in the movie. It is said that the Naa Ready song will come only when the other character of Vijay is revealed. Apart from that, the Badass and Bloody Sweet will come as background songs. The director also revealed that the movie will not have a separate intro scene. However, he added that the audience will get a special feel when Vijay’s character is introduced.
Bye bye buildups:
Lokesh Kanagaraj said that ‘Leo’ is going to give the audience a reality of a common man and will not have much build up shots which is usually seen in these type of action movies.
No space for comedy:
‘Leo’ will be a complete action packed movie with no space for separate humour or comedy track. Usually action movies have comedy scenes as relief for the audience. However, Lokesh has said that there will be light moments on the go.
Doing it daringly:
Lokesh revealed that the film did not use body doubles anywhere and Vijay has performed every single scene. The director added that the stunt directors Anbuariv trained Vijay for each and every fight sequence.
No punch dialogues:
Template action entertainers are nothing without punch dialogues. Vijay, who has his own style of delivering punch dialogues will be missing in ‘Leo’. The actor will be seen as a common man.
