The long pending ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon with Vikram playing the lead role, will hit the screens soon. According to sources, a big production house has come forward to bail out the project.
Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Simran among others share the screen space with Vikram in this film. Tipped to be an action adventure, the movie has music scored by Harris Jayaraj. It is said Vikram is playing a secret agent in this movie.
While Gautham is currently working on ‘Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha’, which stars Varun and Raahei in the lead roles, Vikram is busy with a string of projects, including ‘Cobra’ with director Ajay Gnanmuthu of ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ fame.
A section of the media recently reported that ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram has decided to quit acting to focus on the career of his son Dhruv Vikram who recently made his acting debut with ‘Adithya Varma’.
This sent shock waves among the fans of Vikram. Following this, in a bid to clear the air, the ‘Saamy’ and ‘Anniyan’ actor’s team has come out with a statement.
“This is to inform you that a news report published by a leading media house on Actor Chiyaan Vikram sir is absolutely false and completely baseless. Shocked to see this and wondering how people can publish such false news without bothering to check with official source,” it said.
