When a poster from Vijay’s ‘Master’, announcing that the first single from the movie ‘Oru Kutti Katha’ would be released on February 14, was released on Tuesday evening, the actor’s fans were thrilled and excited.
However, there were a few who found fault with it. In the poster, Vijay is seen relaxing, listening to music and holding on to an alcohol container. Some activists said it was not right for the actor to promote alcoholism.
Earlier, Vijay attracted the wrath of activists when the posters of ‘Thupakki and ‘Sarkar’ had him smoking. Meanwhile, Vijay’s auditor has reportedly met Income Tax officials and gave explanation to the questions posed by them to the actor.
Last week, Income Tax sleuths raided Vijay’s properties and even brought him to Chennai from ‘Master’ shooting spot in Neyveli. Raids were also conducted at AGS group and film financier Anbu Chezhiyan. The searches were in connection with collections made by ‘Bigil’. Days after the searches, the I-T department issued summons to him.
