Director A R Murugadoss, who is all set to join hands with Vijay for a new film once again after ‘Thuppakki’, ‘Kaththi’ and ‘Sarkar’, has said the actor completely surrenders himself to the director’s vision.
“Vijay has got a tremendous memory power that he can recite lengthy dialogues and perform difficult dance moves by watching the rehearsal only once. He is only responsible for the tremendous growth in the industry. Maybe his dad just introduced him but what he achieved right now is because of his talent and hard work,” Murugadoss said at a webinar.
He stated, “When SA Chandrasekhar sir called me for Thuppakki, he told me that his son would completely himself to the directors. I didn’t react much earlier but after working with him, I started realizsng that he completely surrenders himself to the director’s vision. I’m sure all the directors who worked with him would agree with me.”
Recently, revealing some interesting and untold details, Murugadoss said Vijay predicted the controversies triggered by their film ‘Sarkar’ long back. “After the release of ‘Mersal’, Vijay sir came to my office and told me that the film is under the radar for a single dialogue but ‘Sarkar’ is full of current politics so he asked me whether I was ready to face the controversies,” he said.
According to the ‘Ramana’ and ‘Darbar’ maker, “Vijay said he can handle any such issues but asked whether I was fine with the controversies which would happen during the release”.
