Vijay-starrer ‘Master’ was supposed to hit the screens on Thursday (April 9). But that did not happen, due to the ongoing lockdown to check the spread of coronavirus. This has left ‘Thalapathy’ fans worried.

In an apparent bid to change their dull mood, XB Film Creators, the producers of ‘Master’, came out with an update. On their Twitter page, they released a new poster of ‘Master’ which had the lines: ‘Lockdown shouldn’t knock down our spirits! Master will meet you soon…’

They also wrote: “We miss you, just like how you miss us!  Hoping that a master-mind finds an antidote and put an end to Corona! We’ll come back stronger nanbaa. Stay home, Stay Safe. #Master #StaySafe.”

‘Master’ is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars actors Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead roles with an ensemble cast, featuring Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Ramya Subramanian amongst others, play supporting roles.

The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, whilst cinematography and editing are handled by Sathyan Sooryan and Philomin Raj, respectively.
