Vikram seems to be getting super active. The actor is currently occupied with a bunch of films including ‘Cobra’ helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and his 60th movie tentatively titled ‘Chiyaan 60’, which is to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
As far as the long pending ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is concerned, the project has been revived and Vikram would soon start dubbing for it. In a recent interaction with fans, Gautham Vasudev Menon said that he is working towards the release of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ and that the editing work is progressing at a brisk pace.
And, it is said ‘Cobra’ will be dubbed in Hindi and the rights have been acquired by Gold Mines Corporation. Srinidhi Shetty is playing the leading lady in the film, while cricketer Irfan Pathan is playing an important role.
‘Chiyaan 60’ will bring together Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram. Karthi Subbaraj tweeted: “Happy to announce that my next directorial after Jagame Thandhiram is Chiyaan 60. Starring the awesome Chiyaan Vikram Sir and Dhruv Vikram. And it will be an Anirudh musical. So excited for this film.”
