The upcoming action-family entertainer ‘Accused,’ starring Udhaya, Ajmal, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles, is all set to hit screens worldwide on August 1. The announcement was made at a recent press meet held in Chennai.
Directed by Prabhu Srinivas, ‘Accused’ is a joint production by Udhaya, ‘Daya’ N. Paneerselvam, and M. Thangavel, under the banners of Sachin Cinemas, Sri Thayakaran Cine Production, and My Studios.
Producer Paneerselvam lauded actor Udhaya’s commitment, stating, “We started the film’s work on January 2nd this year and are releasing it on August 1st. Udhaya’s full cooperation made this quick turnaround possible.”
He also highlighted Yogi Babu’s dedication, who managed to allocate 14 days for ‘Accused’ even while filming for a Rajinikanth movie.
The film also features Janvika and Dhani in significant roles. Other key crew members, including editor Shyam and music director Naren Balakumar, shared their positive experiences working on the project, praising its gripping screenplay and music.
