Music composer Devi Sri Prasad has urged people to stay inside their homes. He has also briefed them about the effects of coronavirus and significance of social distancing.

“A lot of people have spoken about personal hygiene…The most important thing right now is self quarantine. I am following this very strictly. I am all alone in my studio with my piano and instruments,” he says.

The composer, who is popular in both Kollywood and Tollywood, adds that it is sad to see people roaming about on the streets during this ongoing lockdown that the nation is witnessing.

“It is our duty to stay at home. A lot of people have a ‘my life my rules’ kind of an attitude. But it is not just one life, but millions of lives that will be affected by this. Please stay at home. Watch movies, cartoons. Listen to Ilayaraja sir’s music or dance to Michael Jackson’s music,” he says.

DSP also says that we need to take social distancing seriously. “Let’s all fight COVID 19 together by not being together,” he states.

Leading Telugu music composer M M Keeravani, known as Maragadhamani in Kollywood, has said that the music of Ilayaraja is sweeter than sweet. In a video, he also sings ‘Thene Thenpandi…’ song from ‘Udhaya Geetham’. Keeravani is currently working on ‘RRR’ directed by S S Rajamouli.
