The makers of ‘Thalaivi’ had recently announced that the movie will be released on 23 April.
Now the makers have released a promo video from the movie.
The promo video which was released marking the occasion of International Women’s Day, mentioned, “All women are born great, but it takes an Iron Lady to recognize her inner Thalaivi. Saluting strong and persevering spirit of womanhood! Happy Women’s Day.”
The movie has Kangana Ranaut playing the role of Jayalalithaa. The trilingual film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The film is directed by AL Vijay, and it also features Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Madhoo and Bhagyashree in key roles.
The film will showcase the life of late former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, from her rise in the world of films as an actress to becoming a powerful politician.
