Director Sundar C. has finally addressed the reasons behind his departure from the much-hyped reunion project of Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
Speaking in a recent interview, the director confessed that the “expectations and pressure” of handling two legends simultaneously were too overwhelming.
Sundar C. stated that he felt his creative voice would be compromised among so many influential opinions, and he preferred to step away early rather than fail the project.
The film, tentatively titled KH x RK, has since been taken over by director Nelson Dilipkumar, who is currently working on the script for a massive 2026 release.
