Actor Vivek’s wife Arulselvi met Chief Minister M K Stalin recently and requested him to rename the street in which the actor lived in his memory.
Health Minister M Subramanian has said that Chief Minister M K Stalin has accepted the family’s request. He said that the government has issued an order renaming the street after actor Vivek.
The minister also added that the name board carrying the actor’s name will be unveiled on 3 May. Vivek breathed his last on 17 April last year.
Apart from being a top actor, Vivek was also a social activist who planted a record number of trees following the footsteps of former President APJ Abdul Kalam.
