Superstar Rajinikanth today said he will not tender apology for his remarks on Dravidar Kazhagam founder E.V. Ramasamy ‘Periyar’.
Interacting with journalists in front of his Poes Garden residence in Chennai, he said, “Sorry, I will not ask sorry. There is proof for what I said.” He also displayed magazine copies.
His press meet has come at a time when a few Dravidian outfits have threatened to gherao his residence this week. On Monday, five members of Athi Tamizhar Peravai raised slogans and burnt an effigy of the actor. They were arrested in Madurai.
