Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming 27th film has officially gone on floors, with ‘Parking’ director Ramkumar Balakrishnan taking charge of the project.
The yet-to-be-titled film, referred to as ‘SK27’, is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and stars Kayadu Lohar alongside Sivakarthikeyan.
The production house announced the beginning of the project with a poster featuring a car and several men. The makers have kept the storyline and genre under wraps, adding to curiosity around the new collaboration.
Ramkumar Balakrishnan made his directorial debut with ‘Parking’, which received significant recognition and won National Film Awards, including honours for Best Feature Film in Tamil and Best Screenplay.
The technical crew for ‘SK27’ includes cinematographer Om Prakash and editor Kalaivanan R, while Sai Abhyankkar is associated with the film’s music.
The project marks the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Ramkumar Balakrishnan. It is also Sivakarthikeyan’s first film with Sathya Jyothi Films. More details about the cast, plot and release plans are expected to be announced by the makers as production progresses.
