Sivakarthikeyan’s period political drama ‘Parasakthi’ is all set for its digital debut. After hitting the screens on January 10, 2026, the film’s post-theatrical streaming rights were secured by ZEE5 for a reported record sum.
The platform has now officially confirmed that Parasakthi will be available for streaming starting February 6, 2026.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film delves into the intense 1965 anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu, featuring an ensemble cast including Sreeleela, Rana Daggubati, and Atharvaa.
While the movie received a mixed response at the box office, it has been lauded for its gritty historical setting and powerful performances.
With the theatrical run slowing down, the makers are banking on a massive digital reception, especially given the film’s socially relevant themes and high production values.
