Sivakarthikeyan has officially joined the elite club of actors with consecutive Rs. 100 crore blockbusters, as his latest film ‘Madharasi’ crossed the coveted milestone just 13 days after its release.
The action-packed film, directed by AR Murugadoss, has been a major box office success, delighting both fans and the film’s production team.
Produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, ‘Madharasi’ had a strong opening, earning over Rs. 60 crore in its first three days. Despite a dip in collections during the weekdays, the film sustained momentum, particularly in its home state of Tamil Nadu.
‘Madharasi’ marks the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and director AR Murugadoss.
The film, which also features Vidyut Jammwal in a memorable antagonist role, has been lauded as a significant comeback for the director.
