Sivakarthikeyan appears ready to enter a new phase of his career, with the actor telling fans that his upcoming choices will revolve around films designed to deliver complete commercial entertainment.

During a recent meeting with fans in Chennai, Sivakarthikeyan said he intends to concentrate on mass entertainers from now on. He also shared updates about his two films currently in production — ‘Seyon’ and his yet-untitled project with ‘Parking’ director Ramkumar Balakrishnan, currently referred to as ‘SK27’.

The actor revealed that roughly 60 per cent of ‘Seyon’ has been completed, with songs and several portions already wrapped up. Some major action sequences are still pending. The film, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, is being positioned as a combination of action and entertainment aimed at meeting the expectations of Sivakarthikeyan’s audience.

‘Seyon’ is backed by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and features Raj B Shetty, Bhagyashri Borse, Seeman, Bala Saravanan, Arul Doss and Singampuli alongside Sivakarthikeyan. The film is expected to target a Pongal 2027 release.

Work has also begun on SK27, marking Sivakarthikeyan’s first collaboration with Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The actor revealed that the opening schedule included an action sequence, while an opening song is also being filmed. Kayadu Lohar is part of the cast, with Sai Abhyankkar composing the music.

Beyond his film choices, Sivakarthikeyan also had a message for those who criticise him and his fans. Rather than engaging with negativity, he urged his supporters to remain positive, enjoy their journey and focus on giving back to those who have supported them.
