Sivakarthikeyan Productions has joined several major South Indian studios in taking a formal stand against a surge in digital casting scams.
The production house issued an official statement today clarifying that they have not appointed any third-party agents, casting coordinators, or directors for their current or upcoming projects.
The warning comes after reports of fraudulent WhatsApp messages and emails using the production house’s name—and specifically the success of their recent hit ‘Thaai Kizhavi’—to lure aspiring actors into paying “audition fees.”
The team emphasized that all legitimate casting calls will only be communicated through their verified social media handles and warned that legal action will be initiated against anyone misusing their brand name.
