Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ was one of the most hyped films of Kollywood. The period action drama directed by Siruthai Siva was aggressively promoted.
The movie team promised ‘Kanguva’ would be the first 1000-crore film from Tamil cinema, but it did not meet the expectations of the audience.
During ‘Kanguva’ release, producer Gnanavel Raja announced that Siruthai Siva would do a film with Ajith soon. After that there has been no development on the project.
The latest buzz in Kollywood circles suggests that Siruthai Siva is planning to reunite with versatile actor Karthi.
The duo already worked on the film ‘Siruthai’, which was a commercial hit. Due to its success, Siva is referred to as “Siruthai Siva.” Later, Karthi played a cameo in ‘Kanguva’.
The word is that Siruthai Siva’s new film with Karthi will be an emotional drama, and it is expected to go on floors once the actor finishes his existing commitments.
