Silambarasan TR is now enjoying a highly exciting second phase in his career. The actor made a grand comeback after back-to-back underwhelming projects, with the success of ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’.
Later, the massive success of ‘Maanadu’ established the actor as a bankable hero, yet again.
Interestingly, Silambarasan recently took to his official social media handles and dropped a major update on his next outing, which is supposedly his 49th outing in cinema.
From the actor’s post, it is safe to assume that the popular star is set to be a part of an upcoming project, which comes in the lines of some of his most popular films – ‘Dum’, ‘Manmadhan’, ‘Vallavan’, and ‘Vinnathaandi Varuvaaya’.
While the rumour mills suggest Simbu could be making a comeback to filmmaking with the project, some others suggest that he is teaming up with young filmmaker Ashwin Marimuthu, for the project. AGS Cinemas is reportedly producing the untitled film.
Meenakshi Chaudhary is roped in to play the female lead, while Anirudh Ravichander has come on board as the music composer.
