The first look of director-turned-actor Sasikumar’s upcoming Tamil film titled ‘Freedom, August 14’, was released by the makers on social media.
The film is directed by filmmaker Sathya Siva, who earlier made the 2012 drama thriller film ‘Kazhugu’, and also stars Lijomol Jose in the lead role.
The poster features Sasikumar looking sideways with Lijomol staring straight ahead as we see hundreds of people in what may seem like a gathering.
The makers also released another poster, featuring only Sasikumar.
As he sports a beard and looks on intensely, one can see smoke billowing from a blast.
The technical crew consists of Ghibran composing the music, with NS Uthayakumar handling the cinematography.
