Boney Kapoor had recently acquired the remake rights of Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vaalee’ directed by S J Suryah.
It was reported that the project will go on floors by next year.
However, the latest buzz is that SJ Suryah is planning to appeal against the remake rights.
A case in this regard is already pending as the Court has given an interim judgement permitting the producer to carry out the works.
Sources said that Suryah is planning to go for the appeal based on Madras High Court’s verdict that the producer holds the dubbing rights, but the remake rights belonged to the scriptwriter.
It is said that S J Suryah wants to remake the film in Hindi and play the lead role in it, unless Ajith wants to act in it.
