Acclaimed actress Rukmini Vasanth, who has been winning hearts across South Indian cinema with her stellar performances, took to her social media handles to fiercely address a major privacy violation.
The controversy ignited earlier this week when a series of highly explicit images depicting a woman resembling Rukmini in a green bikini near a swimming pool spread rapidly across online platforms, with many falsely claiming it was her “first bold photoshoot.”
Issuing a stern clarification statement on Instagram and X, the actress completely dismantled the narrative, stating: “My team and I have come across certain AI-generated images being circulated online claiming to be me. I want to state clearly that these images are entirely fake and fabricated.”
Rukmini strongly condemned the malicious creation, labeling it a deeply irresponsible and serious violation of personal privacy.
Confirming that she refuses to let cyber-harassment slide, the actress revealed that her team has already approached law enforcement to initiate strict legal and cybercrime proceedings against the individuals responsible for generating and distributing the manipulated content.
