‘Kaari’:

Sasikumar is a horse jockey in Chennai who is going about his business along with his dad (played by Aadukalam Naren). ‘Karuppan’:

Vijay Sethupathi is a village ruffian with a heart of gold living with his mentally challenged mother Renuka.  A famed bullfighter, Karuppan is challenged by Pasupathi to best his bull and the hero’s friends taunt him into announcing his beloved sister Tanya Ravichandran as the trophy. Vijay Sethupathi wins and gets married to Tanya much to the chagrin of Bobby Simha the brother in law of Pasupathi who is silently in love with the girl.  The rest of the screenplay deals with how Tanya takes a liking for her husband and reforms him and whether the couple survive the evil machinations of Bobby Simha.

‘Meiyazhagan’:

The upcoming film marks the director’s second film after ’96’ and first collaboration with Karthi. Bankrolled by Suriya and Jyothika under the banner 2D Entertainment. Meiyazhagan is a conversational film which touches upon various socio-political issues like jallikattu protests, Chola culture, Sterlite firings, and Eelam.
