Rashmika Mandanna has shared an update on her recovery after sustaining a hip injury during the shoot of her upcoming film, ‘Mysaa’. In a social media post, the actress said she has been spending her days resting, reading books, solving puzzles, watching shows and enjoying time with her family and pet dog, Aura.
Rashmika said her daily routine has become much slower than usual, allowing her to wake up without alarms, attend work meetings from home and focus on self-care. She added that she has also been revisiting family wedding photographs and videos, something she had not found time to do earlier.
Calling the experience a welcome change of pace, the actor said taking time to slow down has not been as difficult as she initially expected. Earlier this week, Rashmika explained that the injury occurred while filming a dance sequence for ‘Mysaa’. She said one of the tendons connecting her right hip to her leg had detached and would need time to heal before she regains normal movement.
The actress, however, assured fans that while the injury is painful, it is not severe enough to cause major concern and that she is recovering steadily.
