‘Lal Salaam’, is written and directed by filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film released in theatres in February.
Even as over six months passed since its release, the film is yet to have an OTT release date.
Starring actors Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, the film features Superstar Rajinikanth in an extended cameo appearance.
Now, as per latest reports, the film is all set to premiere on SunNXT on September 20.
However, an official OTT release date for the film is yet to be confirmed by the streaming platform.
Produced by Lyca Productions, and with music by AR Rahman, ‘Lal Salaam’ is a sports drama that intersperses conflicts in the name of religion.
The film follows the clashes that exist between Muslims and Hindus in the village, against the backdrop of cricket.
