Five days after its release, superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ is still running packed houses in cinema halls across the world and the good run is expected to continue for the next one week, thanks to Pongal holidays.
With Rajini making a comeback in his true style, the film has emerged unstoppable blockbuster and is attracting crowds in large numbers. Family audience are making a beeline to theatres and women and children are enjoying the flick like anything.
If trade reports are to be believed, the movie has crossed Rs 300 crore collection and proved that Rajinikanth is the undisputed emperor of box-office. Not just the Tamil version, but the Telugu and Hindi versions too are running successfully.
Rajini fans are celebrating the movie and are watching it repeatedly. Directed by A R Murugadoss and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, ‘Darbar’ has Nivetha Thomas, Nayanthara, Yogi Babu and others in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, while cinematography is by Santosh Sivan.
