Many popular south Indian actresses including Priyamani, Rashmika Mandanna and Pranitha have expressed shock over and condoled the death of Kannada star Chiranjeevi Sarja, who passed away on Sunday.
Pranitha posted: “Shocked beyond words to hear of Chiru’s untimely demise. My hands shiver as I type this..He was an amazing costar and a wonderful human being Life is unfair! I pray to the Gods to give meghana and his family and friends strength.”
Priyamani wrote: “Shocked to hear about #chiranjeevisarja ‘s demise!!! Can never forget his smiling face.my deepest condolences to the whole family !!”
Rashmika Mandanna stated: “This breaks my heart.. Like really.. This news breaks my heart. This is too early. Rest in peace @chirusarja .. I am out of words.”
Sending shock waves across south Indian film industry, Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away on Sunday. He was just 39. Chiranjeevi was nephew of veteran actor Arjun and husband of actress Meghna Raj.
Chiranjeevi, who started his career in 2009 with ‘Vayupatra’, has acted in 22 Kannada films, including ‘Shivarjuna’, which was released weeks before the Covid-19 induced lockdown. He was part of four upcoming movies, sources said and added that he was planning to make his debut in Kollywood as well.
