The ‘Kabali’ and ‘All in All Azhaguraja’ actress’ last Bollywood outings like ‘Andhadhun’ was well-received. However, she said that it has not increased her commercial viability.

According to Radhika, she still gets rejected citing that she isn’t commercial enough. “In India, when it comes to actor, there is a compromise. It has nothing to do with performance. It’s frustrating that appearances and networking can get someone more work, than the actual skill,” she added.

On lockdown, she said, “After working for eight years, it feels good to relax. I have nothing to complain about anything personally, but what’s happening around is quite disturbing.”

The actress, who directed a short film starring Shahana Goswami and Gulshan Devaiah, is currently spending her time writing scripts. She was part of three foreign films last year. They are: ‘The Wedding Guest’, ‘The Ashram’, ‘Liberté: A Call to Spy’.
