Poikkal Kuthirai

– Review

Prabhu Deva who lost his wife and a leg in an accident is keen on providing a happy life to his daughter, but the latter wants him to seek the help of a prosthetic leg.
He soon finds out that his daughter is in need of a heart surgery which requires a huge amount of money.
Without knowing what to do Prabhudeva plans to kidnap the daughter of a rich person. However, things do not go as planned. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Director Santhosh P Jayakumar has made the movie with more twists and turns.
Infact the hero keeps failing in all his attempts which makes the audience wonder if he will ever succeed.
Prabhudeva portrays the character of a man with just one leg. He has done complete justice to his role and delivers a neat and emotional performance as a helpless father.
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar gets to play a solid role and does her part well. Rest of the cast including Prakash Raj and Raiza Wilson are all functional.
Music by Imman is decent, and the rest of the technical aspects are good as well.
Rating: 3.5/5
