The team of the upcoming film ‘Om’ has celebrated actor Mammootty receiving the prestigious Padma Bhushan.
Photographs shared from the film’s set showed Mammootty cutting a celebratory cake while the cast and crew applauded the achievement. The event was attended by actor Dhanush, director Rajkumar Periasamy and members of the production team.
Despite the honour, Mammootty has remained characteristically modest about the recognition. During a recent media interaction, he expressed happiness over receiving the award and noted that the announcement had been made earlier in the year. He added that he recently received the honour from President Droupadi Murmu at the official ceremony.
