‘The Road’
Actress Trisha Krishnan is all set to impress the audience with her new film titled ‘The Road’. The film is written and directed by Arun Vaseegaran. The movie is inspired by a true incident that took place in Madurai in early 2000. Apart from Trisha, actors Dancing Rose, Shabir, Santhosh Prathap and Mia George will also play prominent roles in the movie. It may be noted that Trisha will also be playing the female lead in ‘Leo’
‘Shot Boot Three’
‘Shot Boot Three’, directed by Arunachalam Vaidyanathan, and starring Venkat Prabhu and Sneha among others, has won the top prize at the International Companion Animal Film Festival (ICAFF) in Seoul, South Korea. Shot Boot Three stars Sneha, Venkat Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Sivaangi and four kids along with a Golden Retriever dog named Max. Kailash Heet, Praniti, Vedanth and Poovaiyar are the kids who play leading roles in this family friendly film. Music of the movie is composed by Rajesh Vaidya.
‘Raththam’
The upcoming Tamil movie is scheduled to release in theatres this Friday. It is written and directed by CS Amudhan. It will feature Vijay Antony, Mahima Nambiar, Nandita Swetha and Remya Nambeesan as the lead characters. Music for the movie is composed by Kannan Narayanan.
‘Irugapatru’
Written and directed by Yuvaraj Dhyalan, this film is based on how a young couple in society overcomes problems and happily live together. He is known for his movies like ‘Eli’ and ‘Tenaliraman’. It stars Vikram Prabhu, Saniya Iyappan and Abarnathi in lead roles. The music for the movie is by Justin Prabhakaran. Cinematography is done by Gokul Benoy. The movie is jointly produced by SR Parkash Babu and P Gopinath under the banner Potential Studios.
‘800’
Former Sri Lankan cricketer, Muttiah Muralitharan holds the record of 800 wickets in test cricket. His biopic is now being made by director MS Sripathy, it stars Madhur Mittal in the lead role. The movie has been creating a buzz in the entertainment industry, ever since its trailer was released. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. ‘800’ is slated to hit the theatres on October 6.
