Mollywood actor Mohanlal has extended a warm welcome to the young music sensation Sai Abhyankkar as the latter makes his highly anticipated debut in Malayalam cinema.
Sai Abhyankkar, known for his viral independent music tracks like ‘Katchi Sera’, ‘Aasa Kooda’, and ‘Sithira Puthiri’, is set to compose music for the upcoming Shane Nigam-starrer ‘Balti’.
The grand welcome was conveyed through a special promotional video released by the makers of ‘Balti’.
The video features Mohanlal in a delightful phone conversation, inviting Sai Abhyankkar to the Malayalam film industry.
Towards the end of the promo, Mohanlal is seen holding a ‘Balti’ jersey with Sai Abhyankkar’s name, further solidifying the collaboration.
‘Balti,’ which is Shane Nigam’s 25th film, is directed by debutant Unni Sivalingam and is scheduled for an Onam 2025 release. Produced by STK Frames and Binu George Alexander Productions, the bilingual film (Malayalam and Tamil) will feature cinematography by Alex J Pulickal.
