Actor Vadivelu has played many memorable roles in his career, but his portrayal of ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’ directed by Chimbu Deven continues to have a huge fan following among the youth and elders alike. The actor portrayed dual roles in the movie which is still fans favourite.
Director Chimbu Deven who also wrote the story, screenplay and direction of the movie also plays an important role for the success of the character.
Fans were excited when the team announced about the sequel for the movie. However, there was not much progress after that. Chimbu Deven has been quiet ever since the movie was dropped.
It is now rumored that Chimbu Deven met Yogi Babu and has narrated a story. It is said to be a historical movie as well.
Sources said that this will be the sequel to ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’.
Chimbu Deven is planning to show Yogi Babu in a completely different avatar, sources addded.
However, this is not going to be an easy task as Chimbu Deven will have several hurldes before him. One of them is to show that ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’ was a successful not only because of Vadivelu, but the director played an important role as well.
He will also have to create a separate ‘Imsai Arasan’ without the shade of vadivelu. Since historical movies need a huge budget, Chimbu Deven has to ensure that the movie becomes a commercial hit to get back the budget.
