Actor and entrepreneur Madhampatty Rangaraj has reaffirmed his commitment to raising his son, Ragha Rangaraj, by sharing a heartfelt statement on social media.
In his message, Rangaraj said he had been taking care of Ragha with affection and responsibility over the past six months and pledged to continue supporting his son’s well-being, education and future. He accompanied the statement with a photograph of the two together.
Joy Crizilda, fashion designer and Ragha’s mother, also shared the same photograph on her social media page, expressing her happiness over the father-son bond.
The statement comes after months of legal proceedings involving Rangaraj and Joy. Their dispute had reached the Madras High Court, which ordered a DNA test to establish the child’s paternity. Joy later announced that the test confirmed Rangaraj as Ragha’s biological father.
Apart from running a well-known catering business, Rangaraj has appeared in Tamil films including ‘Mehandi Circus’ and ‘Penguin’. He is also familiar to television audiences as one of the judges on the cooking-comedy reality show ‘Cooku with Comali’.
