Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has spilled the beans about the delay in Vijay-starrer ‘Master’ updates, and also revealed about when the teaser or trailer of the film would be released.
In an interview with a YouTube channel, the ‘Maanagaram’ and ‘Kaithi’ maker said that it is so disturbing for being unable to deliver the content, which is made already, more than the wait to see it.
He said it is not good to present a teaser or trailer unless the release date of the film is finalised. Meanwhile, in a statement on Thursday, Vijay has distanced himself from a political party floated by his father and filmmaker S A Chandrasekhar.
“Today, I came to know through the media that my father Mr.S A Chandrasekhar has started a political party. I would like to express my sincere condolences to my fans and the public that I have no direct or indirect connection with the party they started.
By this, I mean that I will not be constrained by any actions that may take place in the future in connection with politics. And I urge my fans not to join or serve the party just because my father started it. I regret that there is no connection between that party and us and our movement.
I also hope that appropriate action will be taken against them if they engage in any activities involving my name or photo or the name of ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’,” he said.
