Kollywood stars try hard to present something new to their fans. They try to perform more and more high-level stunts to add visual treat to their films.
Most of the times, these stunts are performed with utmost safety. However, sometimes injuries take place while shooting some risky stunts, once in a while.
Recently actor Vijay Antony got injured on the sets of ‘Pichaikkaran 2’. Let us take a look at some of the actors who got injured while shooting.
Ajith:
Ajith has suffered multiple injuries while shooting for stunt sequences. The latest is when he fell from his bike while filming a stunt for ‘Valimai’ directed by H Vinoth. The actor sustained minor injuries.
Vishal:
Vishal got injured during the shooting for ‘Laththi’. The actor said that he got 119 stitches during the shoot which spanned for 141 days. Vishal was earlier injured while shooting an action sequence involving a big bike in Turkey for his 2019 released film Action.
Vishnu Vishal:
Vishnu Vishal suffered an injury during the shoot of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual ‘Kaadan’. The actor suffered nerve compression and injuries to his spinal cord.
Arun Vijay:
Arun Vijay was severely injured and had a ligament tear while shooting an action sequence in London for the film ‘Acham Enbathu Illaye’ directed by A L Vijay.
Dhanush:
Dhanush was injured while shooting for a stunt sequence in ‘Maari 2’. He had injured injured his right leg and left hand.
