Dream Warrior Pictures announced their new project featuring actor Karthi in the lead role, the film is tentatively titled ‘Karthi 29’ and is directed by filmmaker Tamizh who earlier made ‘Taanakaaran’.
The title poster is in a monotone color palette and shows a ship steering through an ocean. Touted to be a period film, the project is mounted on a grand scale.
The upcoming film will mark the director’s second film and maiden collaboration with the actor.
SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu will serve as producers of the project. It is to be noted that Karthi has often collaborated with the banner and delivered films like ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’, ‘Kaithi’, ‘Sulthan’, ‘Kaashmora’, and ‘Japan’.
‘Karthi 29’ will be co-produced by Ivy Entertainment and B4U Motion Pictures, headed by Ishan Saksena, Sunil Shah, and Raja Subramanian. The shooting for the film will begin soon, with the movie planned for release in 2025.
